BUSINESS CONTINUITY POLICY

The policy of EMIRATES WESTERN OIL WELL DRILLING & MAINT. CO. LLC. (EWPSCO) is to;
- Comply with the requirements of ISO 22301 including all National & International legislative, regulatory and other requirements, and to co-operate with all applicable National & International enforcement authorities.
- Formalize the Business Continuity Management (BCM) programme for EMIRATES WESTERN OIL WELL DRILLING & MAINT. CO. LLC. (EWPSCO) and to provide guidelines for developing, maintaining and exercising the Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) for all divisions/departments at Head Office, and the locations under control of the company.
- Eliminate Risks and Reduce / Control identified risks regarding business, disaster through periodical review of effectiveness of the present controls and analysis of actions, focussing on the prevention of all unforeseen in the vicinity under administration and operational control of EWPSCO
- Continually improve the BCM skills Of personnel ashore and afloat, including readiness for Business emergencies and maintaining an ethos Of continual SCM improvement.
- Consultation and participation of workers
- Strive for client satisfaction by achieving compliance with- and clear identification of our customer's expectations and actively monitor the results.
- Create and maintain an environment for all employees to encourage teamwork, co-operation, initiative, leadership, problem-solving, reliability, constructive decision making and a commitment to improvement.
The objectives Of this policy are to support the BCM Programme:
- To achieve a comprehensive BCM Programme that is formally established and maintained to support business resilience
- To identify key products and services, their supporting critical activities, processes and resources
- To ensure that business impact analyses, and operational risk assessments are applied to key services and their supporting critical activities, processes and resources
- To ensure that risk mitigation strategies are applied to reduce the impact of a disruption on key services
- To ensure that plans are developed to ensure continuity of key services at a minimum acceptable standard following a disruption
- The Invocation of business continuity plans is managed and executed effectively
- To ensure that plans are subject to on-going exercising and revisions
- To create and maintain a healthy and safe work environment, in order to ensure staff and customers' safety, welfare and confidence
- To ensure that the interests of EWPSCO key stakeholders, reputation and value creating activities are safeguarded
- To enforce that all information is provided timeously and is available to all key resources necessary to operate critical business processes. To ensure that compliance to all applicable regulatory and corporate governance requirements is adhered to (relating to business continuity)
- To protect reputation, image in the National and International Market.
- To ensure that the BCMS remains up-to-date and fit-for-purpose
This policy is subject to review during annual management review meetings.
